Drive Test Engineer

 

  • Must have clean driving record
  • Be able to pass basic background check and drug test
  • Be willing to travel extensively across the country

Learn about Benchmark Drive Testing, Site Shakedowns , Acceptance Test Performance (ATP) drive test, Pre & Post Launch Optimization Drives, data Throughput testing , E911 Testing and New Site turn-up (Beta) testing for the various technologies including VoLTE, LTE, HSPA+, EVDO, GSM, CDMA etc.

Device Test Engineer

 

  • Must have clean driving record

Learn how to perform antenna performance testing on VoLTE/LTE/CDMA/GSM mobile devices using OTA chamber and industry standard equipment. Troubleshooting problems with devices and test platforms. Generate test reports and debug log analysis

After the Training

You will have fundamental knowledge of RF technology and be
equipped with the latest RF testing equipment, like XCAL/XCAP,
QxDM/QPST, TEMS, JDSU, etc.

You will have the initiative to independently identify issues,
trouble-shoot, come up with timely, creative solutions, and
own issues through resolution.

 


Career Opportunities

 

RF Drive Test Engineer

  • The Drive Tester is responsible for collecting and analyzing 3G/4G data.
  • Perform stationary and mobility test at the cell sites to check/verify the KPI’s.
  • Monitoring of key performance parameters such as SINR, RSRP, DL/UL throughputs, and handovers during the drive testing.
  • Conduct E911, short, long calls and data sessions with 3G/4G/VoLTE phone testing.
  • Be willing to travel extensively across the country

 

RF Engineer

  • Perform analysis of network KPI's, troubleshoot issues, and be involved hands-on with day-to-day performance.
  • Plan and execute RF optimization for wireless networks during deployment phase to improve network accessibility and retainability.
  • Analyze drive test data and propose software and hardware recommendations to optimize and improve network performance.
  • Monitor and trend network statistics, troubleshoot issue sites and resolve capacity issues.
